Description: The grapefruit tree is a subtropical plant producing semi sweet pale yellow/orange fruit. The grapefruit tree is large, usually growing up to 50ft tall with dark green glossy leaves. White and Pink Grapefruit are very similar but vary in sweetness, the pink or redder varieties are usually sweeter. Grapefruit essential oil is harnessed from the peel using a cold press method to retain the quality of the fruit which can be damaged by other extraction methods which rely on heat. Grapefruit Pink has a fresh, slightly bitter scent that is very characteristic of the fruit.
